The Challenge
This film went live on Thanksgiving day 2024 (November 28) as a part of a broadcast special celebrating Mary Poppins and its composer Richard Sherman. This also marked 60 years of "It's a Small World" and did so with the launching of a new, never before heard verse.
The Solution
The film embarks on a poignant journey through the 60-year legacy of It’s a Small World, exploring its global resonance both as a beloved song and a cultural touchstone. Through a blend of archival footage and newly captured vignettes, we crafted a narrative that spans generations, set to a reimagined composition that reflects the countless lives and moments the song has touched across decades. The story comes full circle in an emotional return to Richard Sherman’s office, where the new verse is revealed bringing the journey to a powerful and heartfelt close.
