The Challenge

In Brazil, older dogs face significantly lower adoption rates compared to younger ones—a trend that reflects a global pattern. Senior dogs are often the last to be adopted from shelters, largely due to the misconception that they can’t learn new tricks.

The Solution

Consul, known as the "fridge of friendship," launched an initiative to challenge this misconception. The brand partnered with Brazil’s largest pet training channel and two leading nonprofit organizations to teach older dogs a new trick: how to open the fridge and fetch a beer.
